Resident Pharmacist PGY-2
Position SummaryThis is a 12-month post-graduate year two (PGY-2) pharmacy residency program that builds upon the PGY-1 pharmacy practice program training and education. This position is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and begins approximately on July 1st of each residency year. The PGY-2 Resident Pharmacist performs daily patient care activities in the medication management process as expected of a registered pharmacist defined by the Arizona Board of Pharmacy Statutes. This position reports directly to the Residency Program Coordinator and receives direct supervision from the Director, Clinical Pharmacy, Education & Research. The Resident also receives oversight and supervision from the Director, Inpatient Pharmacy Operations.
