Critical Care Transport /ER Paramedic
Job SummaryThe Critical Care Transport Paramedic (CCTP) serves as a frontrunner of the multi-disciplinary critical care transport team (CCT) and coordinates the execution of an immediate critical care response encompassing detection, activation, assessment, stabilization, disposition and evaluation of acutely ill patients who ultimately require a safe on-ground transfer from one health care facility to another. During transport, the CCTP functions to assess, monitor, intervene, and stabilize critically ill patients during transport in consultation with the EC faculty and under the direction of the Harris Health System Emergency Medical System (EMS) medical director.
