Practice Setting:

• 505-bed hospital currently supported by five Neurologist and one Neuro-Hospitalist
• Average inpatient volume: 5-7 new patients and 6-7 subsequent visits
• The Neuro-Hospitalist position is supported by a Nurse Practitioner
• Neurosurgery onsite

Responsibilities:

• Consult/round on new and existing neurological inpatients
• Provide ED call coverage
• Read in-hospital EEGs
• Work in collaboration with attending physicians
• No neurology IR coverage requirement

Schedule:

• 26 weeks per year – Consists of seven days on and seven days off

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $345,800 (Based on 182 shifts paid at $1,900 each)
• Additional shifts paid at the same rate

• The area offers a relatively low cost of living compared to many other major cities.

• The area is within a short driving distance to both Kansas City International Airport and downtown Kansas City.
