The University of New England College of Dental Medicine invites applications for full-time (1.0 FTE) non-tenure clinical track positions in General/Restorative Dentistry at the Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Clinical Professor rank, dependent upon experience and credentials.

The general/restorative dentistry faculty member will serve in the Department of Restorative & Clinical Sciences. Core responsibilities will include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction and curriculum development in general/restorative dentistry; fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics; digital dentistry workflows and technologies; and occlusion. Mentoring pre-doctoral students and participation in scholarly activity and college, university, and community service are expected.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Interviews of qualified candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE and a regional licensure examination (e.g. ADEX). By the position start date, the candidate must have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full/faculty).
A broad scope of clinical experience (and/or completion of additional training) in general/restorative dentistry (including fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics) and digital dentistry is required. Strong computer skills are essential to this position.
