Physical Therapy Assistant
Position is located in the Physical Therapy Department of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service (PM&RS). PM&RS in the Shreveport, Louisiana VA Medical Center. The incumbent in this developmental position is an entry-level Physical therapy Assistant (PTA). PTAs at this level receive ongoing guidance from more experienced staff members and require general clinical direction by the treating physical therapist. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship. Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency.
