BJC is seeking an experienced people leader to join our Medical Group Compliance team. The Compliance Manager will be the subject matter expert and assist the team with audits, disputes, etc. This is a dynamic and hands on role where your expertise and leadership skills will be fully utilized.

Monday - Friday; days only!
Hybrid position! Primarily work from home with occasional onsite meetings, so must be within driving distance to St Louis Metro area. The first month may be in person for training at our Mason Ridge location in West County.
Ideal candidate would have a CPC or RHIT certification, leadership and auditing experience.

The Quality and Compliance Department provides support to the strategic and operational objectives of BJC Medical Group practices is located in Town & Country, MO.

Role Purpose
MGR COMPLIANCE 1) Operations & Investigations; 2) Process Improvement & Education: Provides management, leadership, and guidance in all matters concerning the Corporate Compliance Program. Ensures appropriate communication and information exchange with all levels of BJC and WUSM. Builds collaborative teams that strive to minimize organizational risk in an environment that focuses on continuous improvement and business results that meet or exceed every customer?s expectation
Responsibilities
Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and ensures timely investigation of matters raised.
Monitors performance of the Compliance program, evaluates activities, and takes steps to improve effectiveness.
Develops, coordinates, and participates in educational programs.
Serves as a resource ensuring that compliance issues and concerns are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
