Holy Cross Medical Group (HCMG) - a physician led multispecialty group - is seeking a Residency trained Podiatrist to join a busy Orthopedic practice located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
This opportunity requires a proactive approach to practice development for the population of Ft. Lauderdale. This growing practice provides a full range of orthopedic services, including all subspecialties. Our current Foot & Ankle team consists of two fellowship trained Orthopedic Foot and Ankle surgeons and a Residency trained surgical Podiatrist.
This practice is looking to hire a non-operative Podiatrist to join this fast-growing Foot & Ankle team. This opportunity would focus mainly on general podiatry such as; diabetic foot care and nail trims. This opportunity would also include supporting our surgeons with a wide variety of foot and ankle pathology, including tendonitis, arthritis, heel pain, deformity and fractures.
Opportunity to engage in wound care, nail care, injections, and other in-office procedures would also be encouraged.
The schedule for this full-time opportunity is a typical clinic schedule, Monday - Friday, with a minimum of 36 patient contact hours per week. There is no Podiatry call.
Requirements for this opportunity include:
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
2+ Years of Experience Preferred
Successful completion of an accredited Podiatry residency program
Board certification through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery - or obtain within two years.
Obtain Florida medical licensure and granting of privileges at Holy Cross Health
Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
