Genral Summary
Manage, supervise and coordinate operational activies within theNeurodiagnostic department.
Work Performed
- Supervise and coordinate schedule for the group ensuring proper distribution of assignments, adequate staffing, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
- Maintain competencies for a variety of complex specialized procedures including but not limited to electroence phalograph, evoked potential, epilepsy monitoring, Transcranial Doppler and polysomnography.
- Coordinate, develop, and implement departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain liaison with medical, nursing and other hospital personnel.
- Assist in the evaluation of capital purchases and lab supplies.
- Assist in determining fiscal requirements and preparing budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds.
- Serves as a liaison and resource to staff, fellows, and attending physician.
- Train and instruct personnel on technical procedures performed in the department.
- Perform various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisal s, promotions, disciplinary actions and vacation schedules.
- Assist with the departmental accreditation process. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Prefer a Bachelors degree in biology, physiology, psychology, or related field. RPSGT credentialed OR a Respiratory Therapist
Experience
Work requires 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics including but not limited to EEG, Evoked Potentials, Epilepsy, PSG and TCD's. Prefer at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
Prefer a Bachelors degree in biology, physiology, psychology, or related field. RPSGT credentialed OR a Respiratory Therapist with sleep experience.
