Genral Summary
Manage, supervise and coordinate operational activies within theNeurodiagnostic department.
Work Performed
Supervise and coordinate schedule for the group ensuring proper distribution of assignments, adequate staffing, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
Maintain competencies for a variety of complex specialized procedures including but not limited to electroence phalograph, evoked potential, epilepsy monitoring, Transcranial Doppler and polysomnography.
Coordinate, develop, and implement departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain liaison with medical, nursing and other hospital personnel.
Assist in the evaluation of capital purchases and lab supplies.
Assist in determining fiscal requirements and preparing budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds.
Serves as a liaison and resource to staff, fellows, and attending physician.
Train and instruct personnel on technical procedures performed in the department.
Perform various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisal s, promotions, disciplinary actions and vacation schedules.
Assist with the departmental accreditation process. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Prefer a Bachelors degree in biology, physiology, psychology, or related field. RPSGT credentialed OR a Respiratory Therapist
Experience
Work requires 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics including but not limited to EEG, Evoked Potentials, Epilepsy, PSG and TCD's. Prefer at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
Prefer a Bachelors degree in biology, physiology, psychology, or related field. RPSGT credentialed OR a Respiratory Therapist with sleep experience.
