The role you’ll contribute:
The Manager of Clinical Risk Management & Accreditation reports to the Director for the Office of Collaborative Improvement. The Manager of Clinical Risk Management & Accreditation takes a leadership role in investigating reports of any serious event involving actual or potential injury to patients or visitors to assess liability and probability of legal action.This professional conducts proactive and reactive safety analyses, including root cause analysis and failure mode and effect analysis to develop a process and plan for change that can be constantly monitored and evaluated for effectiveness.

Leads Clinical Risk Management efforts
Participates in the review of all high-risk clinical occurrences received within the organization through collaboration with the respective Director/Manager and the Patient Safety Specialist.
Investigates reports of any serious event involving actual or potential injury to patients or visitors to assess liability and probability of legal action.
Provides proactive and reactive safety initiatives including facilitating root cause analysis, apparent cause analysis, failure mode and effect analysis and Sentinel Event Alerts.The information will be used to develop a process and plan for change that can be constantly monitored and evaluated for effectiveness.
Manages Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance efforts
·Maintainsknowledgeofnational,stateandlocalregulatory and accreditation requirements, as it pertains to the North Carolina State Statutes, CMS Conditions of Participation (CoP),and Joint Commission (TJC) standards, as they relates to the operations of AdventHealth Hendersonville.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Masters of Science in Nursing , Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Policy, or a related field.
Minimum: 3 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: patient care, public policy, health care administration, business administration, quality improvement, safety systems, legal support or insurance claims investigation and settlement.
