This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Appointment to the GS-11 grade level requires completion of a minimum of one year of post-MSW experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the field of health care or other social work-related settings, (VA or non-VA experience) and licensure or certification in a state at the independent practice level. Must use a high level of skill in assessing and treating the complicated psychosocial problems of identified high-risk Veterans who are experiencing a wide range of complicated mental, emotional, behavioral, physical, psychosocial, and environmental problems. Provision the minimum monthly clinical case management contact with all high-risk Veterans in the program. Coordination of all elements of mental health and primary care including active communication with all providers involved in the provision of comprehensive care to high-risk and veterans. Provision of evidence-based treatment to high-risk Veterans (i.e., group, individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and completion of specialized training and/or certification in evidenced-based treatment for high-risk behavior (e.g., Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
