Senior Director, Materials Management

Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) is seeking a Senior Director, Materials Management to help lead our Supply Chain vision and strategy and be a vital member of the Supply Chain Department Leadership. This pivotal role champions our vision, mission, and values -- cultivating collaboration and propelling institutional goals forward.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain & Sustainability, key responsibilities include,
- Develop the strategic plan for materials management, driving and incorporating the Institution goals and objectives.
- Orchestrate and coordinate in-department and outside-department supply chain management activities and functions supporting these goals and objectives.
- Direct the operational departments within Materials Management enterprise-wide to ensure efficient and effective delivery of supplies and services and reporting to the entire Center.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience managing and leading staff in a supply chain setting.
- Experienced in leading complex operations, driving process improvements, and building engaged, results-oriented teams.
- Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma certification helpful.
Core Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent Organizational Skills - Project Management and Change Management.
- Effective Leadership Skills - Core Materials Management and Logistics operations; Clinical Device and Product Evaluation Committee; JCAHO requirements.
- Possesses strong technical aptitude - Data and Systems Architecture, Data mining and analytics, Logistics/Distribution network optimization.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships - Multidiscipline Supply Chain Transformation, Systems Implementation, and Process improvements.
Additional Information:
- This role is based at MSK's 633 Third Avenue location.
- Schedule: Hybrid, flexibility to be onsite for collaborative meetings as needed
- Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain & Sustainability
Pay Range: $243,400 - $413,800/annually
