TheVA Healthcare system in Denver, CO., is seeking an experienced board-certified Dermatologist. This is an amazing opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our veterans.
Position Highlights:
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage of the dermatology consultation service in rotation with other staff.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
As a staff Dermatologist, you will diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the skin, hair, nails, and mucus membranes.
We provide comprehensive dermatologic services including general dermatologic surgery, general dermatology, teledermatology, phototherapy, dermatopathology, allergic contact dermatitis, psoriasis, wound/ tissue repair, some laser procedures, and research time (if grant-supported).
As an active affiliate site of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and its training programs, the position provides an outstanding opportunity for individuals committed to an academic career in clinical care, teaching, and research. You will be involved with educating and teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and other providers and so must qualify for an academic appointment at our affiliated university, University of Colorado (CU), Denver.
Minimum Qualifications:
MD or DO Degree
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Board Certified or Board Eligible
