SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for coordinating, provisioning, and supporting the installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware, software and related infrastructure primarily for Lenel OnGuard and Milestone proprietary security systems.
Application management includes modules for access control, ID credential management, system administration and video surveillance. Hardware management includes components such as system controllers, panels, readers, electronic locks, camera devices, intercoms, and biometric units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
Participates in daily routines for related monitoring, documentation, programming, customization and problem resolution based on internal end user/departmental interactions and external vendor activities.
Applies software upgrades, patches, firmware revisions and similar remedies to comply with required Information Systems guidelines.
Contribute to activities in areas of vendor and departmental coordination, design, programming, testing, and implementation of concurrent, multisite installation/construction projects.
Provide direct technical end user set up and support. Install and troubleshoot software, printers, and other security system peripherals.
Prepare, update, and submit various scheduled and ad hoc reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
Four (4) years of related experience required.
Lenel Certified Professional (LCP) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
