JOB SUMMARYThe Surgical Support Technician is accountable for maximizing the efficiency of the operating rooms (OR) before, during and after surgical procedures by assisting with room set up and turnover, supplies and equipment set up, inventory maintenance and non clinical support.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLECleans surfaces and equipment in the Operating Room (OR). Performs proper OR decontamination after each surgical procedure and as deemed necessary by surgical team.
