The community you’ll be caring for:AdventHealth Tampa · AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, known across the country for its advances in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and research. · Surgical Pioneers – the first in Tampa with the latest robotics in spine surgery · Building a brand new, six story surgical and patient care tower which will ensure state of the art medical and surgical car for generations to come · Awarded the Get With The Guidelines – Stroke GOLD Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association and have been recognized as a recipient of their Target: Stroke Honor Roll for our expertise in stroke care. We have also received certification by The Joint Commission in collaboration with the American Stroke Association as a Primary Stroke Center.
The role you’ll contribute:
To properly deliver and pickup all special function meals/snacks on a timely basis.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Reports to work in a regular and timely fashion. · Maintains personal hygiene and neatness according to departmental standards. · Performs proper hand washing techniques according to departmental standards. · Utilizes gloves according to departmental standards. · Uses hair restraints according to departmental standards. · Checks for a; special service events for the week. · Prepares fruit baskets and Danish trays for the day. · Checks Camelot Rooms and Banquet Room to ensure they are clean and ready. · Sets up any special service events for the day and the following day. · Serves any luncheons and help with any other specialties. · Checks all Banquet events for the following day and prepares items in advance. · Delivers all coffee and snacks to designated areas. · Cleans delivery carts daily.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· High School diploma or equilalent. · Physically able to perform designated job. · Minimum Six (6) months direct food service experience or 3 months related food service experience
