We are looking for a high caliber individual for our Clinical Applications Specialist - CT position who will provide system level work.  At Barnes Jewish Hospital you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most cutting-edge technology and have access to working with the most novel equipment! 

Position Details:

• Exempt role:  business hours with added flexibility based on clinical needs
• Collaborative position that works with BJC and Washington University radiologists, ordering providers, nurses, radiology supervisors, and fellow technologists
• Work closely with software and at the forefront of AI/highly advanced software integration
• Oversee and collaborate with BJC neurology process improvement team for software updates, data collection and presentation, and stroke coordination between technologists and physicians
• Creation, oversight, and optimization of CT protocols and annual education  

Preferred Candidates: 

• Bachelors degree, CT Registered, 2+ years of technologist experience

You will be working with an organization on the leading edge of diagnostic radiology. In fact, our radiology department is regarded as one of the top five in the United States, and performs over 453,000 diagnostic imaging examinations annually.

Role Purpose

Trains physicians and staff (and will support BJC and its Collaborative members upon request) on the use of clinical software to include the VIA library, Radimetrics for a variety of modalities with primary responsibility for the MRI and CT service lines, as well as assist physicians on the use of unfamiliar applications to provide diagnosis. Will work with Radiology and Cardiology leadership and physicians to develop standard protocols for the safe and effective use of the VIA application. Provides status updates to management on the status of license and usage of the software.
