SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This job is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all daily operations of the department. This includes supervising, organizing, scheduling, coordinating and assisting department personnel in performing all drug distribution, preparation and clinical activities of the department. The manager is expected to apply solid principles of leadership, human relations and continuous quality improvement in the overall management, coordination, supervision, development and refinement of inpatient pharmaceutical care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
BS and or/ Pham D degree in Pharmacy.
Five (5) years of experience as a pharmacist or three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or management position in a health system.
Licensure as a registered pharmacist by the State Board of Pharmacy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
MS degree and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY-2 Residency in Pharmacy Administration preferred.
