DescriptionThis position serves primarily as a Monitor Tech to remotely monitoring 5-lead electrocardiogram (EKG) activities on patients from off-site nursing units, under the supervision of charge nurse.The EKG MT is responsible for continuous monitoring of EKG, pulse oximetry, respiratory rate (RR), and end-tidal CO2 at the Central Monitor Station.
