Director, Culture & Organizational Development for BJC HealthCare
Focusing on Leadership Development Programs & Organizational Development/Culture Building
This enterprise-wide role will lead a team to bring a culture to life by aligning our values to people systems and structures, including leadership development, employee listening/pulse surveys, new employee orientation and recognition programming. Further, they will lead an internal organizational development consulting team to build high performing executive teams as well as consulting on strategic change initiatives.
They will work with the Vice President for Talent and Culture to build and operationalize a strategy aligned to meet business needs and BJC priorities.

Role Purpose
Assesses, designs, develops and deploys a strategic learning pipeline for the organization which builds organizational capabilities aligned with BJC Strategic Plan. Works with the VP, CLO to create learning that aligns to business strategies, people development and BJC priorities. Oversees the design and delivery and creative approaches to learning that support the development of a competent and engaged workforce. Supervises assigned staff.
Responsibilities
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and champions curriculum architecture which develops employees and secures a pipeline for future resource pools.
Identifies short/long term skill gaps. Manages development investments to close gaps, accelerate internal development, retain high performers and ensure development of emerging talent.
Designs, delivers, creates, and sponsors variety of learning and development initiatives to increase employee engagement and retention of key talent.
Identifies and manages learning needs, recommends and implements solutions and evaluates learning through metrics.
Leads and manages implementation of various technology solutions
May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
