Description
Registration Integrity Specialists are critical to patients of Watertown Regional Medical Center as they ensure the patient?s safety both physically and financially.
Full Time; 32 hours per week / Overnight
The Registration Integrity Specialist is responsible for providing a variety of order entry, Pre-registration, registration, cost estimates, and basic financial counseling to our patients. They will do this while working with patients and clinics directly over the phone in real time. Registration Integrity Specialists will pre-register accounts by verifying all demographic and insurance information.
This position will also enter orders as needed and identify errors in order entry to ensure patient safety. They will then proceed to prepare demographic and consent forms for front end staff. When applicable, estimate will also be added to the prepared paperwork. If Estimate was missed, this person will also create the estimate.
Registration Integrity Specialists will backup registration areas as needed. They will work closely with other departments from the revenue cycle including Patient Accounting, Prior Authorization, and Registration to ensure patient experience is flawless from start to finish.
