Director Product is responsible for the digital product media platform and product portfolio for Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH), including digital Product strategy, product development, patient user experience, technical delivery, and other digital Product project areas. Plans and implements the digital Product platform strategy and digital Product enabled products to build and sustain brand visibility across digital Product channels that affect BSWH patients, physicians, and other stakeholders. Directs web-enabled strategy to optimize online digital Product marketing and technical tools such as website patient interface, search optimization, affiliate marketing, patient portal delivery, and other digital Product products. Responsible for establishment, management, and protection of the BSWH digital Product footprint. Oversees all aspects of BSWH digital Product media operations, web presence, and digital Product marketing activities. Monitors changes affecting the health care industry and leads the development of innovative digital Product programs that impact the BSWH technical and business models. Leads and collaborates with other departments, including operations, IT, marketing, communications, and digital Product teams, to ensure that the Product platform is aligned to BSWH business objectives and future growth.

Often has one or more managers or supervisors reporting to the role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
1. Directs digital media platform and products for BSWH. 2. Recommends and implements strategic and operational plans and priorities for digital health aligned to BSWH overall business objectives. 3. Directs the development and implementation of the digital product portfolio and platform that enhances the patient and customer digital experience. 4. Develops and implements digital health policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives that create the patient and consumer digital experience. 5. Builds key relationships and communicates with executive sponsors, operations leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of the workstreams with the business. 6. Directs the creation of design prototypes that improve the intended user experience and key interactions. 7. Leads and monitors the production of high-quality digital graphics and visual components. 8. Develops and implements product roadmaps, milestones, project plans, key performance indicators, and tracks performance against goals. 9. Leads using an agile operating model, including coordination of product design and custom development resources, to ensure successful delivery of digitally enabled products. 10. Selects and leads external vendors and online content partnerships to deliver digital health solutions.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
1. Bachelor?s degree in IT, business, or related field preferred. 2. 5+ years of experience in digital products, digital health, digital marketing, or related area. 3. 1+ years of experience in a leadership role. 4. Experience with design, development, and implementation of digital products, deploying UX/UI solutions across mobile and web interfaces. 5. Experience leading digital and business model transformations within a large complex organization. 6. Knowledge of healthcare digital technologies preferred, such as health system technologies (EMRs, virtual health, remote monitoring) and health insurance technologies (claims systems, network management solutions). 7. Understanding of operations of a large healthcare system preferred, including provider services, care support functions, and health insurance functions. 8. Ability to lead cross-functional teams in solving complex, multi-functional problems. 9. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile: - Bachelor?s degree in STEM or related field - Master of Business Administration or Product Development preferred - 7 years of professional experience in healthcare product management - Willing to travel to Dallas at least 1x per month - Experience bringing new solutions to the market within a product development framework - Experience leading change and building new products - Experience in startup culture - Experience assessing and managing vendors - Keen understanding of incumbent stakeholders (e.g. employers and health plans) and their needs
