The Division of Health Services Research (DHSR) in the Department of Foundations of Medicine of the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine (NYUGLISOM) invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Associate or Professor level in Implementation Science. NYUGLISOM is the newest school of medicine in the NYU Langone Health System. It offers an innovative and tuition-free three-year curriculum focusing on primary care, population health, and health systems science. Investigators in the Division conduct clinical and translational research in various areas, including diabetes, cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, kidney disease, and immunological disorders. The position's primary focus will be research, but the candidate will also contribute to the teaching and service missions of the School of Medicine.
DHSR is committed to developing expertise in population health, health services research, and implementation science to complement existing areas of strength and help reach the Institutional goal of advancing the health of populations as leaders in discovering and translating new knowledge into policy and clinical practice. DHSR is amid a wide-scale expansion and is looking for candidates involved in innovative research with strong collaborative skills in an interdisciplinary environment to help grow the Division. Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
MD/DDS/PharmD or PhD/DrPH in health delivery science, clinical decision science, health services research, health policy and management, patient-centered research and evaluation, health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, pragmatic research, social science, or related fields; or an with advanced training and documented expertise in these areas
Experience collaborating with medical and public health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting
Mid-career investigator with a track record of extramurally-funded research support and peer-reviewed publications
Experience in mentoring junior scholars and graduate studentsExcellent written and oral communication skills
For MD candidates, board certification or eligibility and NY State licensure or eligibility are required.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $200,000 - commensurate with experience
