UNC Health is search of an Urgent Care Medical Director (MD/DO)!
The Medical Director will support Urgent Care at Carolina Pointe II in Chapel Hill, NC and Urgent Care at Hillsborough in Hillsborough, NC.
Details About The Opportunity Include But Not Limited To:
?Attend to local quality meetings and support of quality improvements
?Local review and approval of patient discharge requests before submission to Experience Team
?Participation in practice provider recruitment and interviews
?Attend Medical Director Meetings
?Review and approve provider PTO requests
?Assistance with physician and APP On-Boarding
?Conflict resolution
?Monthly provider and team meetings
?Attend quarterly financial meetings with the Director of Operation and Practice Manager
?Quarterly review of practice metrics and templates
?Perform annual provider reviews
?Confirm appropriate APP supervision in the practice
Clinic Hours: Sunday - Saturday 8am - 8pm Position

Qualifications:
?Urgent Care experience is a must
?Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
?Leadership experience is a plus
?Board certified
?NC State License preferred
?FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required
?Must be eligible for credentialing
