UNC Rex Digestive Healthcare is seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join their team in Raleigh, NC. This group offers advanced training and the latest techniques in various specialty areas while focusing on giving patients undivided attention. Physician will work in 2-3 of our group Wake County clinic locations and perform procedures at a non-system owned ASC. This busy practice also comes with academic opportunities.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
· Experienced MD / Board Certified in Gastroenterology
· Perform diagnostic procedures (e.g., endoscopies, colonoscopies) to identify gastrointestinal conditions and diseases.
· Evaluate patient history and symptoms to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
· Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results to inform patient care decisions.
· Provide specialized treatments for conditions such as IBS, Crohn?s disease, ulcers, and liver disease.
· Administer preventive care and screenings, such as cancer screenings and dietary assessments.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
· Educate patients and families on treatment options, lifestyle changes, and disease management.
· Participate in research or clinical trials to advance knowledge in gastroenterology.
· Maintain accurate and detailed medical records to ensure continuity of care.
· Stay updated on new treatments and technologies within the field of gastroenterology.
