We would like to add a total joint specialist as well as a sports medicine specialist. Fellowship-training is required as is board eligible or certified. Two of the partners are currently opted out of Medicare and have over 50% of their collections as cash money. This allows you to spend time with your patients and not be burdened with excessive paperwork or regulations. The practice is lean and overhead stays well below the MGMA average. 

Patients come from a large draw area in San Antonio but also from the southern and western parts of the state. We have many who travel from out of state and internationally to receive specialized care. The practice is part of several value-based plans including bundled payment arrangements, employer sponsored networks, and cash pay networks.

Paid call is available. It is not a requirement.

Currently, work is from one location in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio.  The practice is state of the art with 10 exam rooms including 2 procedure rooms, in-house direct digital x-ray, and ultrasound. Our primary hospital is a physician owned facility a few blocks from the office. The hospital provides outstanding inpatient care and outpatient center. Enjoy the efficiencies of the specialized facility and top-notch nursing care. Ownership in this physician owned hospital is an option after one year. This is also an excellent opportunity to earn ancillary income.
