Indiana University Health Southern Indiana Physicians is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our team in Bloomington, Indiana. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to women throughout their reproductive lives, and we are looking for a compassionate professional who shares this commitment.
Positing Details
Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women and their families.
Conduct routine gynecological examinations and preventative health care services
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
Perform deliveries in a variety of settings, including hospitals and birthing centers
Full scope inpatient and outpatient obstetrical and postpartum care.
Rotating schedule with 6 other CNMs
Inpatient - 70% / Outpatient - 30%
Nights, weekends and holidays
Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Midwifery
Current certification as a Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
Active Indiana RN license
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
