Description
This is a full time, day shift position / 40 hours per week
Schedule: 5:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Every other weekend - four shifts per week
The Harvest Nutrition Representative is responsible for receiving diet orders from the order communications computer, processing the menus by visiting all the patients and assisting the patients in placing their food orders according to the prescribed diet. The Harvest Nutrition Rep is also responsible for tallying food items for production, preparing nourishments, answering the telephone, supervising the assembly and delivery of trays, and performing meal rounds and test trays as scheduled. Performs a variety of preparation, distribution, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year previous food service experience in a health care field preferred
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
