The role you’ll contribute:
The Provider Database Specialist is responsible for the accurate maintenance of the Physician Database. Responsible for understanding how to resolve issues related to transcribed physician report delivery and coordinating with Physician Informatics team and Medical Staff as needed. Performs regular audits of the database to ensure data integrity. Professionally and politely communicates with physicians, physician office staff and all AdventHealth departments. Actively participates in unresolved physician reporting issues and maintains a file of issues and their resolution. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
·Assists with Facility and Divisional reports, Provides statistical and analytical reports to local Medical Staff Offices (MSO) and other stakeholders.
·Manages the Credentialing software Database. Audits, analyzes, troubleshoots and problem solves.
·Audits, analyzes and maintains integrity of provider data in credentialing system for AdventHealth.
·Maintains a close working relationship with Medical Staff Offices, Regions, system departments and Key Stakeholders.
·Creates data storage and retrieval systems.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
·Associates Degree in computer science or related field with minimum of two years of Medical Staff, provider data or CVO (Centralized Verification Office) experience OR Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field with minimum of one year of Medical Staff, provider data or CVO experience.
