Watertown Regional Medical Center is hiring a Patient Access Assistant Manager
The Patient Access Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Patient Access Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the Hospital Registration Department (hospital scheduling, registration, and switchboard). The Patient Access Assistant Manager?s primary responsibility is to ensure registration staff welcome our patients as expected guests and to obtain complete and accurate demographic information for billing purposes. Will also assist in the hiring and training of all registration associates. This position is responsible for scheduling all registration staff and in assisting in writing of department policies & procedures. This position, in conjunction with the Patient Access Manager, is responsible for overseeing the monitoring program to ensure staff are fully utilizing our insurance eligibility software. Participates in departmental goal setting and coach?s staff to ensure goals are met and that the department?s various functions are operating in a cohesive manner. This individual performs in accordance with hospital standards and policies.
