The role you’ll contribute:

The Unit Clerk performs general clerical duties and specific non-professional services to assist the licensed nursing staff to expediently and efficiently implement physician orders and carry out patient care.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

·       Performs as a team member in assisting with safe and effective patient care.

·       Ensures patient rooms are neat and clean.

·       Responds to nurse/patient intercom system in a timely manner.

·       Maintains a safe patient care environment.

·       Prepares and delivers specimens to lab according to policy and procedure.

·       Acts as a communication liaison for the patient, family and interdisciplinary healthcare team.

·       Performs clerical Unit Clerk duties

·       Frequently reviews and flags tracking board for completion of labs and test.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

·       High School Diploma or GED equivalent
