The Division is interested in recruiting a faculty member with expertise in mentorship and a track record of clinical research in critical care. There is divisional and departmental support for establishing a clinical research program in critical care. The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine has extensive research collaborations with 5 PhD faculty in the Respiratory Therapy Department who are members of the Department of Cardiopulmonary Sciences at Rush University. This program offers a unique Master of Science in Respiratory Care with up to 25 students per year and is the only such program in the state of Illinois.
