Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise, schedule, and evaluate all clinical and supportive pharmacy personnel to include Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Operation Supervisors as it relates to all pharmacy activities including drug preparation, sterile product preparation, dispensing, and clinical pharmacy services
Set team direction, resolve problems, and provide guidance to team in accordance with departmental plans and Infusion business priorities
Participate in hiring, onboarding, training and development of new employees
Ensure that all pharmacy operations, practices, and procedures meet all licensing and standards requirements established by local, state, and federal agencies, as well as accrediting bodies (e.g. ACHC, URAC)
Maintain clinical skills and knowledge of pharmacotherapy and intravenous therapy by reviewing the literature and attending in-services, seminars, and conferences
Oversee the procurement of medication, supplies, and equipment used in preparing and administering drugs
Oversee the clinical services offered by the branch as they are related to both infusion and/or specialty services provided
Ensure compliance with all controlled substance related rules, regulations, and Company policies
Maintain proper communication and coordination with other departments and staff
Temporarily assume the role of Pharmacist-in-Charge in the absence of the PIC and/or General / Branch Manager
Prepare justification for additional personnel, equipment, and programs
Assist with development of policies and procedures and ensure compliance thereof
Participate in and help direct the branch Quality Management / Performance Improvement Program to include review and identify areas of opportunity

Required Qualifications:
BS of Pharmacy or PharmD
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Arizona
3+ years of Pharmacy experience
Working knowledge of the regulations and processes related to sterile compounding.
Proficient experience with Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
Permanent residence within a commutable distance to the branch
Willing to obtain out of state pharmacist licenses required to support out of state pharmacy license PIC requirements.
Knowledge of CPR+ software
