JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Program Specialist to plan, coordinate and participate in the establishment and operation of specialized programs or projects. Develop, coordinate and advise on policies related to specified activities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate the handling of intricate leave of absence applications for cDHIP and DHIP faculty as well as advanced practice providers. This includes but is not limited to the gathering, assessment, and processing of complex leave requests.
Reporting for cDHIP and DHIP leave management with a primary focus on intermittent leave and long-term disability, as well as facilitating the return to work with necessary accommodations.
Liaise with clinic administrators to address regulatory updates, ongoing status changes, and the management of transitions for cDHIP and DHIP service groups.
General office work which includes monitoring shared mailbox.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program with one year of experience in program administration or event production.
OR Two years of postsecondary education with three years of experience in program administration or event production.
OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
