This is a PRN position (On-Call - No Benefits) - you will receive an additional 15% PRN pay in lieu of benefits
Hours: 12-hr shifts; schedule is based on department needs
Position Summary:
The Psych Tech/CNA provides basic nursing services for patients as delegated by and under the direct supervision of the RN. Contributes to the delivery of patient treatment by providing, personal hygiene, comfort, safety, protection, and facilitates treatment programming.
Primary (Essential) Duties:
Provides physical and emotional comfort and safety for patient.
Leads Program Therapy Groups and reports patient status and goals for the day to the Treatment Team.
Accompanies patients (as assigned) to Program groups and meetings.
Facilitates Wrap-Up Group and Relaxation Exercises at the end of each patient day.
Assists patient in caring for daily hygienic needs, such as bathing, mouth and teeth care, and bowel and bladder habits.

Qualifications
Current Idaho CNA certification listed on the Idaho State Nurse Aide Registry
BLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center
