Watertown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator.
Full Time; 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for meeting the needs of internal and external Hospital customers and supporting the unit by providing a variety of clerical, organizational and material handling duties such as; providing tagged patient
chargeable supplies to sub-inventories, analyzing usage driven stock levels and organizing sub-inventories, working with departmental staff on supply and inventory issues, inputs and analyzes patient charges, manages special product patient charging, manages 20 code carts, OB and Urology carts and patient equipment, assists Material Resource Techs when needed. It also includes clerical purchasing function services such as maintaining files, composing purchase orders as well as a variety of purchasing functions including interviewing sales representatives, securing bids and quotes, selecting products and placing orders.
Supervises Staff (Transportation/Courier Services, Materials Management). This individual performs in accordance with hospital standards and policies. Operates under limited supervision.
The Supply Chain Coordinator reports directly to the Supply Chain Director and can collaborate with the supply chain team. This position is expected to adapt to changing conditions and make purchasing decisions that are fiscally responsible. This position also requires knowledge of or the ability to learn multiple purchasing systems.
Qualifications
Associated Degree required in Business or health care related field OR at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role in a Materials
Management position.
Three years previous materials management experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare field.
Valid Wisconsin Drivers License.
