UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 + visits a year. UNC Physicians Network provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137-bed licensed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System. We are seeking a personable and engaging general pulmonologist to join our team!
Position Information:
UNC Pulmonology at UNC Caldwell in both Lenoir, NC and Hickory, NC practice locations
Full-time- 36 patient contact hours with 4 hours dedicated to charting/admin
Call- no inpatient or hospital obligations, call only required for clinic critical labs
Strong CPN network and referral base
Current providers include 2 physicians
Currently have cardiac rehab with plans to add pulmonary rehab next fiscal year
Will work with a respiratory therapist at the hospital to help develop a lung screening program in the clinic
Access to a Body Box for full PFTs at the hospital
First in NC to have the new Galaxy Bronchoscopy Robot System offering state of the art care to patients
