Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities in the home. Monitors patients, provides education on DME equipment (VPAP, oxygen and feeding pumps), keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.

You will be part of the continuation of care to support the transition from hospital to home providing education to clients with respiratory, ventilation and g-tube medical issues. Nurses provide care to clients on a rolling case load basis. Nurses get to see many different patients consistently keeping the position interesting and rewarding.

Entry level pay rate is $41.50/hr paid biweekly. The travel expectation will include the use of your vehicle to the below territories, but not limited to them. Nurses are paid the federal guidelines of $0.65/mile to travel to client's homes. On-call is required in this position, Nurses are paid a flat rate unless they need to provide care (get on the phone with a client or go see a client) at which time they are paid their hourly rate. On-call schedules are a minimum of 3 days per month.

Sussex County, Morris County, Warren, Passaic, Union, Hudson and Bergen Counties.
