Our well-established practice is seeking dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our collaborative team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, pediatricians, and pediatric nurse practitioners to provide excellent care to neonates and their families in the growing Austin area. Our team cares for infants in the award-winningSt. Davidâ™s Healthcare System as well as other outstanding hospital systems within the Austin area.
Level I nurseries and Level II, Level III, and Level IV NICUs
Flexible scheduling including a combination of 12 and 24 hour shift opportunities
Medical services include HFOV, nitric oxide and total body cooling
Robust NICU surgical services offered, with award-winning community prenatal consultation and referral program
Strong MFM and pediatric sub-specialty support for our NICUs
Neonatologists remain in house at Level III and Level IV units
NICU Developmental Follow Up Clinic for ongoing patient support
Experienced nurse practitioner applicants and new graduates are encouraged to apply
NNP clinical responsibilities include prenatal and newborn consultations, attendance of high-risk deliveries and comprehensive management of neonates in the NICUs and newborn nurseries throughout our multiple hospital units. Numerous opportunities are available for NNP development through education, mentoring, quality improvement, research, policy development, and leadership as part of our team.
Practice coverage includes:
St. Davidâ™s Medical Center, Level IV NICU with accompanying Level IV OB services. Comprehensive NICU care with neonatal surgical services and active newborn delivery service.
St. Davidâ™s Womenâ™s Center of Texas, which includes St. Davidâ™s North Austin Medical Center, Level III NICU with accompanying Level IV OB services. Comprehensive NICU care and robust newborn delivery service.
St. Davidâ™s Round Rock Medical Center, Level II NICU. NICU and normal newborn services.
St. Davidâ™s South Austin Medical Center, Level II NICU. NICU and normal newborn services.
St. David's Georgetown Hospital, Level I normal newborn services
BSW Lakeway Hospital, Level I newborn services
Christus Santa Rosa San Marcos Hospital, Level II NICU. NICU and normal newborn services.
