MaineHealth Cardiology is currently seeking an Electrophysiologist to join their practice in the greater Portland, Maine area. The preferred candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease with advanced training in Electrophysiology.

Maine Medical Center (MMC) is a high-volume tertiary referral center for northern New England with an EP program focused on atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardias, ventricular tachycardia, genetic arrhythmic conditions, and left atrial appendage occlusion. MMC also specializes advanced cardiac rhythm device procedures including physiologic pacing and laser lead extraction.
Our eight-physician EP team has grown case volumes dramatically over the last 5 years to serve the growing demand in the region.
The MaineHealth EP team performs the highest volume of EP procedures in Northern New England.
Our multidisciplinary teams include Advanced Heart Failure, Advanced Cardiac Imaging, Coronary and Structural Intervention, Cardiovascular Critical Care, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.

The hospital has built a new patient care tower dedicated to cardiovascular excellence. It will be home to 19 new procedure rooms, including several hybrid ORs, as well as 64 new private patient rooms. The building will open in summer 2024.
A growing practice of over 70 cardiologists with practice locations in Augusta, Lewiston, Rockport, Scarborough, and Waterville.
This fully integrated faculty practice works closely with Maine Medical Center and other regional hospitals to provide a coordinated network of care for the state of Maine and eastern New Hampshire.
Qualifications:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification/Board Eligible.
