The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA, has an immediate opening for a full-time, board certified/board eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist. Commonly known as the 'Ark-La-Tex', the point where Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas meet, Shreveport offers you the 'lagniappe', which means a little something extra! Highlights of this position include:
Competitive Starting Salary $325,000 $400,000
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm., on call as required
Clinical duties will focus on General cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology
Performs inpatient or outpatient cardiovascular consultation services
Support general cardiology service.
Reviews physical requirements and conducts physical examination of various categories of military and civilian personnel

Additional Requirements:
American Board of Internal Medicine Certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology preferred. We will also consider Cardiac Electrophysiology board eligible candidates.
Academic appointment at LSU School of Medicine is available but not required. (Board certification required if interested in academic appointment.)
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
