The Director of Primary Source Verification (PSV) reports to the Chief Executive Officer of Medical Provider Resources and is responsible for oversight and management of Initial Appointments, Reappointment, Document Updates, Ongoing Monitoring, and Final Quality services and employees.
The Director of PSV will professionally represent MPR in all communications including virtual meetings, telephone conversations and email responses. Professional representation of MPR at all outside meetings (such as the Kansas Association of Medical Staff Services and others) and while attending the needs of MPR clientele, providers and medical office personnel via virtual meetings, telephone or email is expected. The Director of PSV will make every attempt to both educate and communicate details when sending emails to clients, providers, applicants, and/or other medical office personnel so that all understand the processes of MPR.
The Director of PSV is expected to maintain certification through the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).
The Director of PSV is directly accountable to the CEO and indirectly accountable to all members of the MPR Leadership Team and all direct reports.
Management and Oversight of all PSV Processes
The Director of PSV serves as the leading resource for the PSV Team and is responsible for the daily personnel management of all members of the PSV Team. All personnel management activities, including annual reviews of direct reports are conducted by the Director of PSV with the support of the Chief Executive Officer.
The Director of PSV is responsible for executing current PSV policies and procedures. The Director of PSV develops and/or updates applicable MPR Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance. The Director of PSV will review the MPR Policies and Procedures annually to ensure these reflect current MPR processes, and recommend any suggested changes to the CEO.
The Director of PSV organizes work, effectively prioritizes, and sets short and/or long-term goals and the strategies to achieve those goals. Aligns communication, people, processes, and resources to drive success.
The Director of PSV is responsible for the management of personnel Paid Time Off (PTO) and time-clock requests, organizing team schedules, leading PSV team meetings, and the development of team meeting agendas.
The Director of PSV is responsible for providing routine updates of the volumes, deadlines, and other processes at MPR Team Leads meetings and to others when necessary (i.e. in the development of dashboards).
The Director of PSV develops and cultivates collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure appropriate awareness of key issues and decision-making.
When necessary, the Director of PSV gains cooperation and support, resolves differences, and reaches compromises with others.
The Director of PSV recruits and supervises qualified staff to accomplish all PSV operations and functions. The CEO of MPR will interview all potential hires along with the Director of PSV.
The Director of PSV develops the agenda, communicates the agenda, and leads the PSV team meetings.

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory and management experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of credentialing experience required.
Minimum of 2 years of provider enrollment (insurance enrollment) experience preferred.
