The role you’ll contribute:
Collaborates with medical and clinical leaders to coordinate clinical excellence in stroke-care across the facility.

·Works with team to identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care ·Performs quality assurance studies and assists with the implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives ·Monitors departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements ·May assist with the marketing and advertising of programs and services ·Functions as a key decision maker for the interdisciplinary teams responsible for monitoring and improving program performance·Facilitates the development and implementation of stroke-related educational initiatives for staff, patients, community, and emergency medical services ·Guides interdisciplinary team members in performance improvement and the incorporation of evidence-based practice protocols into the daily operations of the stroke program ·Assists in ensuring a high level of data accuracy and quality for stroke program reporting ·Works with community and professional organizations to further education and awareness about stroke prevention and treatment ·Provides outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships •Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Five years of Clinical experience ·Basic Life Support (BLS) certification·Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN), Critical Care Nursing (CCRN), or NIHSS certification ·Current valid State license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
