Mercy Hospital is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Pediatric Critical Care Physician to join our practice in Springfield, Missouri. Work alongside of an expert team of care professionals and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.
Level I Trauma Center caring for trauma patients of all ages including pediatric patients 0-18
30 bed general pediatric floor
48 bed - Level III NICU
12 bed PICU - Average 500-600 admissions annually
Established group of 3 experienced BC Pediatric Intensivists, seeking a fourth full-time to complete staffing
One of seven St. Jude Affiliate hematology/oncology clinics in the nation
Multiple pediatric subspecialties support including cardiology, pulmonology, hematology/oncology, neurology, endocrinology, ETN, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, etc
No ECMO, CRRT, or Cardiac Surgery/CICU services
Friendly, professional atmosphere with great pediatric trained nurses, pediatric respiratory therapists anc ancillary services - IV/PICC team and full-time child life specialists
Academic affiliation with University of Missouri with opportunities to mentor, teach and train medical students and advanced practitioners
