We are seeking a Strategic Services Associate to support the Duke Health Integrated Practice Office of the President and Chief Operating Officer, focusing on project management, data analysis, strategic planning, and implementation of key priorities. This role will support and lead initiatives in ambulatory operations, access, and physician practice management.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead strategic projects and task forces alongside Operations Leadership to drive key initiatives aligned with COO priorities, including space planning, access initiatives, growth strategies, and physician compensation.
Organize and lead meetings, prepare comprehensive presentations, and ensure follow-up on action items for executive leadership meetings.
Oversee vendor relationships and manage strategic pilots, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with external parties.
Coordinate the annual budget planning process, working closely with DHIP finance and clinical department leadership to align timelines and financial goals.
Facilitate communication and coordination across DHIP Management System committees and councils.
Partner with the DHIP Chief of Staff on projects and initiatives directed by the DHIP President and COO, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Manage and coordinate project updates and communication to Department Chief Administrative Officers, keeping department leadership informed on key priorities.
Provide leadership and support for the DHIP Administrative Fellowship program, ensuring smooth operation and coordination of fellowship activities.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a business or health-related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years work experience, including 3 years of experience with significant responsibility for performance/ process improvement. Experience leading work teams required.
Experience can be supplemented with Master's degree with a Masters being equivalent to two years of experience.
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
