As a LPN II you will facilitate, communicate and collaborate with the RN to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. Assists with the nursing process to promote/restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. Demonstrates accountability for the quality of own nursing practice. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/G.E.D (required)
Minimum Experience Requirements:
Two years of recent LPN experience (preferred)
License/Certifications Requirements:
Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)
Basic Life Support (Required)
IV Therapy State IV Certification upon hire or within three monthof hire/transfer
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Schedule: Part time (evening)

The Medical Unit at St. Catherine Hospital specializes in general medical and surgical patient care and is a 48-bed unit. We treat adult patients that are 16 years and older needing medical or surgical intervention with no overflow from other departments. We are a desirable department because we value teamwork and collaboration. Patient safety and experience is a priority as well as employee job satisfaction.
