The role you’ll contribute:
The Manager of Strategic Programs and Governance is responsible for managing processes and supporting operations for interrelated programs and strategic initiatives within the Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) to drive the achievement of the PHSO and Primary Health Division (PHD) strategic vision and priorities. This position is accountable for ensuring operational readiness by developing collaterals and tools, organizing activities or meetings, and implementing work plans that support program oversight, timeline visibility and knowledge transfer. The Manager also leads governance operations for PHSO network boards and committees, including the statewide Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). This role is responsible for facilitating timelines and deliverables, developing meeting materials, engaging with governance stakeholders and ensuring compliance with governance bylaws. This position works with PHSO executive leadership, operational leaders and physicians, and must be both a strategic collaborator and a tactical thinker to ensure programmatic alignment to strategic priorities and effective execution of projects.

Assist with development and implementation of strategic initiatives by creating and managing work plans and identifying required deliverables. Ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within the project scope and timeframe established by PHSO leadership and/or workgroups and committees.
Supports the development of strategic initiative communications and deliverables intended to inform key stakeholders about initiative goals and performance, including but not limited to, presentations, placemats, scorecards and strategy updates.
Assists in the identification, analysis and resolution of project problems. Provides solutions/recommendations for improvement and mitigation as opportunities are identified. Tracks and follows-up on issues and works with appropriate staff to drive resolution.
Works with the network president, board chair, and committee chairs / leads / sponsors to develop meeting agendas, pre-reads and presentation materials. Schedules and participates in pre-meeting agenda review meetings with appropriate stakeholders. Responsible for sending agenda, pre-reads and meeting materials to required stakeholders.
Works with the network president, board chair and committee chairs / leads / sponsors to establish board and committee meeting cadence. Manages logistics for meetings and events, including, organizing meeting invites, room setup, IT requirements, and presentation facilitation.
Develops and maintains excellent relationships with board and committee members, ensuring members are fully engaged and informed. Responds to board and committee inquiries and is available to resolve issues, answer questions and provide assistance.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in health care or business-related field
5 years of related experience
Experience in project management or relationship/stakeholder engagement
Preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Health Care Administration or Public Administration
Experience in strategic planning
Experience in board governance
Certification in a relevant performance improvement, project management or change management methodology (i.e. Lean, PMI, Prosci, etc.)
