Description
The UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Project Manager (PM) for the Division of Clinical Trials Development(CTD) Team to participate in all research activities as part of the clinical research team at UCLA and the National Clinical Trials Network ( NCTN), under the direction of the CTD Director, investigators, and Senior Management, Clinical Research Unit [CRU] Director of Research and CTD Director). Ideally, the NCTN Project Manager will assist in reporting to and interfacing with the required groups in the JCCC to complete study start-up and maintenance of study regulatory files and submissions to fulfill research requirements. The NCTN PM will also work with study teams and study monitors to verify and monitor data to ensure accurate and complete documentation of study regulatory documents in a timely manner. Work may be assigned by the CTD Director, CTD Manager, Sr. Project Manager and Senior Management, and assignments may be changed on an as-needed basis in order to ensure that studies and patient-care needs are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Salary: $6,983.33 - $14,950 monthly
Qualifications
Required:
*Bachelor’s Degree in related area and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
*Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, business, project management and/or equivalent
*Project management certification from a reputable organization such as PMP, CSM or ACP to include a qualifying exam and/or quality assurance processes like Six Sigma or Lean or equivalent project management experience required.
*Thorough knowledge of the organizational development, organizational change management and effectiveness field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational interventions. Some examples include: Lean, Kaizen, *Project Management Institute PMP, Agile, Scrum, PROSCI, etc
*Demonstrates analytical, problem- solving, project planning and implementation skills.
*Skilled in facilitation, internal/external consulting and relationship building
*Demonstrates ability to learn quickly, reason, synthesize and generalize based on information obtained.
* Ability to focus on priorities, strategies, and vision.
