SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to perform demolition and renovation of rooms and spaces within the Medical Center and COM buildings, including all fixtures and utilities within those areas; to direct activities of other Renovators; and provide estimates for proposed projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited apprenticeship training and seven (7) years effective experience in a related field performing comparable work, or twelve (12) years construction experience required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
  
• Must pass a written test and hands on skills demonstration with a score of 70% or greater.
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Two (2) years supervisory or estimating experience preferred.
• Experience in building construction trades in a commercial/industrial setting is preferred. Electrical/ Plumbing/ Carpentry experience is preferred.
• Experience in the operation of tractors, forklifts, high lifts and other types of equipment preferred. 
• Basic computer skills preferred.
