Associate Professor of Africana Studies (Public Health)
The Department of Africana Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) invites applications for the tenured position of Associate Professor with specialization in Public Health, to begin August 2025. Preference is given to scholars whose scholarship focuses on the exploration of health equity, race, and social justice from an academic or organizational perspective, community-engaged health promotion and interventions, and/or social and environmental health disparities and impact on vulnerable communities in the United States.
