About the opportunity:
As a Microsoft 365 Administrator, you will manage and optimize our digital workplace, requiring deep expertise in Microsoft 365 E5 apps, collaboration tools, and security features. You?ll implement a secure, seamless modern workplace, ensuring our organization has the tools for efficient, collaborative work. You'll also support IT Security and Compliance by implementing and operating technical controls and assisting in security investigations.
What you will do:
Plan, implement, customize, and operate Microsoft 365 solutions, including Entra, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Purview, Defender, Intune and related applications.
Monitor VH's Information Security program including threat detection, prevention, and investigation of incidents. Participate in IT Security on-call rotation. Monitor phishing reporting and ticket queue. Automate manual processes.
Manage email communication through Exchange Online, email security platforms, and configure security settings.
Administer IAM using on-prem AD & Entra to ensure secure and efficient user access and RBAC.
Implement and manage single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies for enhanced security.
Monitor and enhance security measures within Microsoft 365, addressing potential vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards
Implement data loss prevention (DLP) policies and information protection strategies.
Provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with the IT support team to resolve escalated incidents and service requests.
Develop and conduct training sessions to educate users on best practices for Microsoft 365 applications. Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Vail Health Values and perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

What you will need:
Experience:
5 years of experience in an IT role
3 Years Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or similar role required.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online preferred
License(s):

Certification(s):
Professional certifications from Microsoft, Oracle and others preferred.
Computer / Typing:
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
